About the Country of Guatemala:
Guatemala is a beautiful country located between Belize and Mexico, bordering El Salvador and Honduras. The majority of the total land space is mountainous and Guatemala has many volcanos. Guatemala is known as the "Land of the Eternal Spring" because of its mild climate. The average temperature is 75 degrees F. Very few Guatemalan families adopt, therefore many of their children are placed for international adoption. Prepare yourself for a beautiful country and a wonderful "forever family". |
La religion pura y sin macula delante de Dios y Padre es esta: Visitar los huerfanos y las viudas en sus tribulaciones, y guardarse sin mancha de este mundo.
(Translated in English) "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orhans and widows in their distress, and o keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27 |
While in Guatemala, families usually stay at the "Villa at Antigua" in Antigua, Guatemala. The picture below shows the beautiful courtyard at the Villa. To the right is another courtyard shot that shows the beautiful mountains and volcanoes that surround the Villa. |
